  • ATTENTION LEBC MEMBERS: URGENT COMMUNITY INFORMATION

    The following information is being shared for anyone in need of food or assistance. Please call or visit the listed websites for the most up-to-date details.

    In the Charles City and Providence Forge areas, several local resources are available to help. The Charles City Food Pantry, located at 13050 The Glebe Lane in Charles City, is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for drive-through pick-up only. Their office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and they can be reached at (804) 652-4778.

    The Promise Land Storehouse Food Pantry, at 2401 Roxbury Road in Charles City, operates on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for walk-in pick-up and on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. They also offer twice-monthly home deliveries, with details available at www.plsva.org.

    Additional Food Cupboard Locations, which are refilled every Wednesday, include the CVHS Clinic (9950 Courthouse Road), Samaria Baptist Church (8130 Lott Cary Road, rear parking area), and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (19300 The Glebe Lane, front parking area).

    The New Hope Pantry, a ministry of New Hope Church located at 6475 Parrish Road in Providence Forge, serves those within a 30-mile radius. Registration is required, and individuals will be contacted to schedule pick-up times. For more information, email KelliRLieder@aol.com or call (804) 932-3967.

    The Atlantic Outreach Group also provides food, emergency supplies, and personal hygiene products. They are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Registration is required for deliveries or pick-up by calling (804) 308-2648 or emailing info@aog4u.org.

  • Join us as we celebrate with Little Zion Baptist Church for their 137th Church Anniversary on Sunday, November 9th at 3:00 PM! The service will be held at 8625 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Our Praise Team will be ministering in song as we join together to lift up the name of Jesus and celebrate this milestone of faith and fellowship.

  • Join us for Little Elam Baptist Church’s “Light Up the Night for Jesus” — a joyful community celebration filled with worship, fellowship, and the beauty of Christmas displays that remind us “Jesus is the Light of the World” (John 8:12).

    We’re inviting community members and local churches to partner with us through monetary donations, door prize giveaways for youth, teens and adults, or by volunteering to help set up our Christmas displays.

  • GriefShare beginning on Tuesday, October 21, and will meet every other Tuesday for the remainder of the session. We will host double sessions each night to help participants move through the full series more quickly. Each session includes helpful video teaching, group discussion, and workbook time to guide you through the healing process. Meetings are free, open to the community, and you may join at any time.
