With deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude, Little Elam Baptist Church honors the life and legacy of Reverend Daniel Wallace, Sr., a faithful servant of God who devoted his life to ministry, leadership, and the care of God’s people.
Reverend Wallace served with distinction as Assistant to the Pastor, Associate Pastor, and as Interim Pastor during a pivotal time in the church’s history. In each role, he led with wisdom, humility, and unwavering faith, providing strength, stability, and spiritual guidance when it was most needed.
As Interim Pastor, Reverend Wallace ensured that the church remained grounded in its mission and united in purpose. His leadership carried the congregation forward with grace and assurance, leaving a lasting imprint on the foundation of Little Elam Baptist Church.
Beyond titles and responsibilities, Reverend Wallace was a shepherd at heart. Through his preaching, teaching, prayers, and personal encouragement, he touched countless lives. His compassion, quiet strength, and dedication to God’s Word will forever be remembered by those he served and loved.
Though he has transitioned from labor to reward, Reverend Wallace’s legacy lives on in the lives he impacted, the faith he strengthened, and the example he set. His life stands as a testament to faithful service and a deep commitment to God’s calling.
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” – Matthew 25:23
We honor Reverend Daniel Wallace, Sr. and celebrate a life well lived, a race well run, and a servant who faithfully answered the call. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
It is with heartfelt sorrow that Little Elam Baptist Church honors the life and legacy of Rev. Montey F. Cotman, Sr., our beloved Associate Pastor and Chairman of the Trustee Board. Rev. Cotman was a faithful servant, devoted leader, and a pillar within our church and community.
His unwavering commitment to God, his church, and his family will forever be remembered. Though he is no longer with us, his impact and spirit will continue to inspire generations to come.
We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to his family during this time.
“Well done, good and faithful servant…” – Matthew 25:23
